1. What makes Australian Labradoodles different from other doodles?
Australian Labradoodles are a multi-generational breed, carefully developed for consistent temperament, health, and coat quality. Unlike first-generation doodle mixes, they offer predictability and reliability.
2. Are they good family dogs?
Absolutely! Australian Labradoodles are friendly, gentle, and love being part of family life. They’re great with kids and thrive on interaction and affection.
3. Are they hypoallergenic?
Yes. Their non-shedding, allergy-friendly coats make them a popular choice for families with allergies.
4. What sizes do they come in?
- Mini: 15–30lbs, 14"–16"
- Medium: 30–45lbs, 17"–20"
- Standard: 45–60lbs, 21"–24"
At East End Labradoodles, we breed Mini and Medium sizes.
5. What colors are available?
Our puppies come in a variety of beautiful colors, including:
Cream, Apricot, Red, Chocolate, Black, Parti (two-tone), Caramel, Phantom, Roan, and Sable.
While we prioritize temperament and health, we love the stunning variety in coats!
6. How do I reserve a puppy?
Fill out our puppy application, and we’ll connect with you to learn more about your family. A deposit secures your spot. Visit our Puppy Process page for full details.
7. Do you do health testing?
Yes. Our breeding dogs undergo extensive health testing: OFA, PENNhip, patella, eyes, heart, and full genetic screening. Health is our top priority.
8. When can my puppy come home?
Puppies go home at 8 weeks, with their first vaccinations and microchip already done.
9. Do you offer support after adoption?
Yes! You’ll always be part of our East End family. We’re here to guide you for the life of your pup.
10. How often do they need grooming?
Their fleece coats require brushing several times a week and grooming every 5–8 weeks. We also offer grooming at our East End Pet Spa!
11. Are they easy to train?
Very! These smart, eager-to-please dogs respond well to positive training. We recommend early puppy classes and will share trusted local trainers.
12. Can we visit the puppies?
Yes! Families with deposits are invited to an Open House at 6 weeks. We also share frequent photo/video updates and offer virtual visits if needed. Other visits are by appointment only.
13. Do you offer a health guarantee?
We provide a written health guarantee covering genetic conditions, outlined in our contract.
14. What is the cost of a puppy?
$3,500 plus NYS sales tax.
15. Do you ship puppies?
We don’t ship unattended, but we offer flight nanny services for an additional fee. A trusted member of our team will accompany your puppy to ensure a safe journey.
